Jose Salloum

Financial Security Advisor. Founder, CWCC and IBCFinancial.com

Jose Salloum is a Financial Security Advisor (Conseiller en sécurité financière) licensed by the Autorité des marchés financiers in Quebec, by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario, and by the Insurance Council of British Columbia. He holds the Infinite Banking Concepts® Authorized Practitioner certification from the Nelson Nash Institute and the Certified Cash Flow Specialist designation. Licensed since 2001, he has spent more than two decades working with Canadian families, business owners and incorporated professionals.

He is the founder of Canadian Wealth Creation Centre (CWCC), registered with the AMF as firm 602293, and of its educational branch IBCFinancial.com. The firm is licensed to place insurance in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and New Brunswick. Jose's own advisor licensing is held with the AMF, FSRA and the Insurance Council of British Columbia; clients elsewhere in the firm's footprint are served by advisors licensed in their province. CWCC is not registered with CIRO and does not provide securities advice. Where a question belongs to a CIRO-registered representative, Jose says so.

The Path That Led Here

Jose is the author of Infinite Financial Sovereignty®, Simplified, a Canadian book on the strategy known as The Infinite Banking Concept®. Four parts, twelve chapters, fifty-two benefits, and an entire chapter devoted to helping the reader decide it is not for them.

Before Jose Salloum designed participating whole life policies and built capital systems for Canadian families, he spent years studying and practising dentistry. The discipline of that profession, the precision it demands, the trust it requires, the long-term relationship it builds between practitioner and patient, shaped how he approaches every financial conversation today. In dentistry, you do not just treat symptoms. You look at the whole picture, you plan for the long term, and you treat the person, not the problem in isolation.

The transition from dentistry to financial services was not a pivot. It was a deepening. The same questions that drove Jose in medicine drove him in finance: how do systems work, why do some families achieve lasting financial security while others do not, and what does it take to understand those dynamics well enough to help someone navigate them? Those questions led him, eventually, to the The Infinite Banking Concept® and to the participating whole life insurance strategies that form the foundation of everything CWCC does today.

The discovery was personal before it became professional. Jose did not learn about participating whole life insurance as a product to sell. He learned about it as a strategy to live, and he implemented it in his own financial life before he ever recommended it to a client. That experiential foundation is the difference between an advisor who explains a strategy and an advisor who has lived it. When Jose talks about policy loans, about the dividend cycle, about the long game of building a capital system that compounds across decades, he is not speaking from textbooks. He is speaking from experience.

That experience runs from his licensing in 2001 through hundreds of Canadian families and businesses. CWCC has grown from a single-advisor practice to a multi-generational firm, with Jose working alongside his son Michael Salloum, himself a Financial Security Advisor and Infinite Banking Concepts® Authorized Practitioner, to serve clients from initial design through decades of ongoing coaching and service. The practice that Jose built reflects the philosophy at the heart of the The Infinite Banking Concept®: that the capital-flow function should pass from parent to child, growing stronger with each generation.

The credentials listed here are verifiable through their respective issuing bodies. Jose Salloum does not use the titles "Financial Planner" (Planificateur financier) or "Financial Advisor" because he does not hold the IQPF designation or the other designations that authorize those protected titles in the provinces where title protection applies. He uses the correct regulated title: Financial Security Advisor: the designation that authorizes insurance distribution in Quebec under the Autorité des marchés financiers.

Insurance Licensing

Jose Salloum is licensed for insurance distribution in the following provinces, under the respective regulatory bodies:

Quebec: Financial Security Advisor (Conseiller en sécurité financière), regulated by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) under the Act respecting the distribution of financial products and services (CQLR, c. D-9.2). This is the primary licensing jurisdiction for CWCC's practice.

Ontario: Life and Accident & Sickness Insurance Agent, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) under the Insurance Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. I.8.

British Columbia: Life Insurance Agent, regulated by the Insurance Council of British Columbia under the Financial Institutions Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 141.

Note: Insurance licensing is provincial and may change over time. Readers in provinces not listed above should verify CWCC's current licensing status in their province before engaging in any insurance transaction. CWCC will always confirm current licensing at the start of any client engagement.

Professional Designations

Infinite Banking Concepts® Authorized Practitioner: awarded by the Nelson Nash Institute, the organization founded by R. Nelson Nash, author of Becoming Your Own Banker®® and originator of the Infinite Banking Concept®. The NNI certification certifies that the holder has studied the IBC methodology and passed the Nelson Nash Institute's qualification process. This is a private professional certification from a private organization. It is not a regulatory licence, does not confer any government-regulated authority, and is separate from and in addition to provincial insurance licensing. Jose Salloum received the designation in 2019 and has been practising the The Infinite Banking Concept® alongside his insurance practice for many years before that.

Certified Cash Flow Specialist. A professional designation that certifies advanced knowledge in cash flow management, financial strategy, and the application of whole life insurance within integrated financial planning frameworks.

What These Credentials Authorize

Jose Salloum's credentials authorize him to advise on and distribute insurance products, including participating whole life insurance, term life insurance, critical illness insurance, and disability insurance, in the provinces where he holds active licensing. His credentials do not authorize securities advising, tax advice, or legal advice. For any investment products classified as securities (mutual funds, ETFs, individual stocks and bonds), CWCC coordinates with a CIRO-registered firm. For tax planning and legal structuring, CWCC coordinates with the client's accountant and legal counsel.

Important Disclosure

Jose Salloum and CWCC are compensated through commissions on insurance products sold to clients. This creates a financial interest in recommending the products that CWCC distributes. Clients are under no obligation to purchase any product or service from CWCC or IBCFinancial.com. Jose Salloum and CWCC encourage all prospective clients to seek independent professional advice before making any insurance or financial commitment. Full compensation disclosure is available on the Transparency and Compensation page.

In plain language: when a client places a policy through us, the insurer pays us a commission. That is how this practice is paid. You should know it when you weigh anything we write.

Philosophy and Approach

Jose Salloum does not believe that most Canadians need more products. He believes they need a better system, and a clearer understanding of how money actually works before any product is introduced. Every client engagement at CWCC starts with education, not application. You cannot build a capital system on top of confusion. You build it on top of comprehension.

The Infinite Banking Concept®, as Jose practises it, is not a policy. It is a discipline. The policy is the tool. The discipline is the habit of thinking differently about capital: where it lives, how it moves, who benefits from its movement, and how a family or business can recapture the capital-flow function that most Canadians hand over to commercial lenders without realizing the cost. What makes the difference between a family that owns a whole life policy and a family that operates a capital system is not the policy itself. It is the coaching, the understanding, and the years of deliberate practice that follow the policy's issuance.

That is why Jose believes that the sale of a policy is the beginning of the relationship, not its conclusion. CWCC was built around the commitment that comes after the paperwork: the annual reviews, the loan coaching, the coordination with accountants and legal professionals, the education of the next generation, and the adjustments that any financial strategy requires as life evolves. Families who have been CWCC clients for ten, fifteen, and twenty years are the truest measure of what the practice stands for. The returns they have experienced are not the result of a single policy decision made years ago. They are the result of a relationship that has been maintained and refined across a decade or more of genuine partnership.

Jose approaches every client the way a physician approaches a patient: with the conviction that the right diagnosis precedes any prescription, that honesty about limitations matters as much as expertise, and that the professional relationship only works when the client genuinely understands what they are committing to and why. He does not pressure. He does not rush. And he will tell you directly if the strategy he offers is not the right fit for your situation, because an honest conversation that does not result in a sale is worth more, in the long run, than a sale that was not right for the client.

CWCC and IBCFinancial.com

CWCC (Canadian Wealth Creation Centre) is the practice Jose Salloum founded in 2016 and has led since. It is a Canadian financial services firm operating primarily under AMF regulation in Quebec, delivering insurance-based wealth creation and protection strategies to Canadian families, business owners, and professionals. CWCC operates across seven integrated service areas, Financial Sovereignty, Wealth Creation, Investment Options, Life Insurance, Living Benefits, Group Insurance, and Succession Planning, with the Infinite Financial Sovereignty® strategy as the integrating framework where appropriate.

IBCFinancial.com is the educational branch of CWCC, dedicated specifically to helping Canadians understand the The Infinite Banking Concept® before they decide whether it is right for their situation. The educational approach reflects a core belief of the practice: that a client who fully understands the strategy they are implementing will get better results than a client who implements it without understanding it. The website, the books, and the educational content Jose has produced over the years serve as the foundation of the client relationship. A way to share the philosophy and the mechanics before the first conversation, so that the first conversation can be substantive rather than introductory.

CWCC is a family practice. Jose Salloum works alongside his son Michael Salloum, who is himself a Financial Security Advisor and Infinite Banking Concepts® Authorized Practitioner, holding insurance licences in Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba, and New Brunswick. Together, they bring two generations of lived experience with the The Infinite Banking Concept® to every client relationship, which is particularly meaningful given that intergenerational wealth transfer and the passage of the capital-flow function from parent to child are core principles of the concept itself. The family structure of the practice is not incidental. It is a demonstration of the philosophy.

Who Jose Serves

Jose Salloum and CWCC serve Canadians at specific life stages and in specific financial situations where the integrated approach CWCC offers delivers meaningful value beyond what conventional financial products alone provide. The clients who benefit most from the relationship tend to share certain characteristics: they are thinkers rather than impulse buyers, they are willing to invest time in understanding before they commit to anything, and they are oriented toward building something lasting rather than optimizing for short-term returns.

Among the families and individuals Jose serves most often are incorporated business owners and professionals who understand that their corporate structure creates both opportunities and obligations in the area of financial planning. The Capital Dividend Account, the tax treatment of insurance within a corporation, the interaction between business cash flow and personal wealth building. Physicians, dentists, lawyers, accountants, and entrepreneurs with meaningful retained earnings are frequent CWCC clients, not because the strategy is reserved for high-income earners, but because the strategy is particularly well-suited to the financial architecture that incorporated professionals typically have.

Families with young children building toward multi-generational wealth, families with business succession challenges, individuals approaching retirement who want to understand how insurance-based strategies interact with their registered accounts and their estate plan. These are the conversations Jose has been having since 2001, and the questions that continue to drive his work.

What Jose does not offer is a quick solution to a complex problem. If you are looking for someone to sell you a policy in a single meeting and disappear, CWCC is not the right practice. If you are looking for a relationship built on education, honesty, and genuine ongoing service, then the 30-minute Discovery Meeting is a reasonable place to start.
